THE APSIS
Behind the High Altar is some wooden seating with a large leggio for the Psalm reading. At the end of the Apsis is a large painting of G. Diano representing the Assumption of the Virgin Maria from the sky. Even though the temple is dedicated to the Mother of God, the solemn festival most felt by the faithful, which are numerous, is that of the 15th of August.
